Last night I watched Leonard Cohen : I'm Your Man and Antony's performance just stood out as so haunting and amazing at the same time. I am always amazed at the amount of music out there that I've never heard that is just so amazing.

and then now someone is considering this!
If you need your iPhone to communicate your drink order I think it's time to do some serious evaluation of your own true needs.

OK very funny Mail, is this just your clever way of covering up the fact you can't count above 20?

i just typed the word sorta-invisible in an email (yes it was very informal) and spellcheck says it's OK though the dictionary doesn't contain that as a real word or "sorta-" as a prefix.
Though dictionary.com has sorta listed as an actual word and not labeled as slang or a colloquialism.

Dan or I were discussing these words this weekend and weren't clear on the distinctions. So I figured I'd post this as a public service in case others were unclear as well. I think a lot of times common usage distorts my hunches on correct usage.

I've lived in NJ all my life, ditto for my parents and grandparents and most of my coworkers.
Yet, ( here are the results… )
Though I suppose being so close to PA has it's effects and South Jerseyeans pretty much speak Philadelphian. Though when I say coffee it's like a crow immitation.
On a related note, I was thinking this morning about localized words and foods. Things that you might take for granted and might be taken by surprise for not being otherstood when away from home.
I am thinking of putting together a poll of some local examples—we'll see.

Anyone have any good suggestions for a 120GB+, Firewire & USB, bus powered external hard drive?
I have this LaCie d2 250GB drive and it works well, though between the extra power cord and it's not exactly sleek in proportions. I'd like something that I don't need an extra plug (well at least not 100% of the time).
Oh yeah I'll be using it with my 15" G4 Powerbook primarily, so enough power might be a concern with some drives.
